Ever wondered if firemen that you see on TV are doing it right and if it's really like that in life? Well this compilation of a year of a firefighters helmet camera sort of confirms it for you. This is a long way from Fireman Sam.

The firefighters in Highland Park, Michigan USA seem to encounter a whole lot of fires for a city of 12,00 people, but who are we to question the pyromaniacal ways of a city. Scott Ziegler's footage of his day to day work very much puts sitting at a desk everyday into perspective. It very much feels like a trailer for a firefighting version of End Of Watch (what with all the shakey camera work, NSFW language and Eminem playing over it), but at the same time is so surreal and terrifying. Particularly if you're pyrophobic.
