Now that it's officially December, we can fully get behind the return of Christmas FM which has been back since Wednesday. The annual festive radio station pumps the airwaves full of Christmas tunes both online and on various frequencies throughout the country, and is a perennial favourite to stick on while you mull up that wine and attempt to wrap presents. And believe it or not, the station is staffed entirely by volunteers, who give their time to the station to raise awareness and funds for charity, with over €300,000 being raised in the last four years alone. Broadcast live from the O'Callaghan Alexander Hotel, it's banter central. Unless you're a scrooge. We're delighted.
