Boiling water freezes in the air in Siberia
Next time you're complaining about how cold it is, just be glad you aren't in Russia right now. Huge parts of the country are in the midst a big freeze, with record temperatures as low as -40 degrees Celsius in parts, which you may have heard affecting some elephants last week. Well now the laws of physics are being exploited by the freezing conditions, with this resident of Novosibirsk being able to throw boiling water into the air and watch it freeze instantly. in the -41 degree weather. It's quite an impressive if terrifying display, but why he's choosing to add more snow to the freezing conditions is anyone's guess. Surely they've enough of that at the moment.
