Aural mashup of 2012 is musical Marmite
We love a good mashup. However, there are many who don't so if you're one of these people, you should probably stop reading now. But if you're one of the sounders who does love a good mix of the year of pop, then you're in for a treat my friend. DJ Earworm, stage name of one Jordan Roseman, has made a bit of a name for himself in the mashup stakes, with his annual mixes of the best of pop being something to look forward to for many a music fan. And not only does he do annual roundups, he also does custom mixes for the likes of Capital FM and others on request. This years selection of the top 25 hits stateside is titled Shine Brighter, and includes samples from soundtracks of the year Call Me Maybe and Gangnam Style amongst many others. Also, it's great.
And the best part? Because it's a mashup, and rights are all sorts of vague when it comes to them, you can download it for free right now. Perfect soundtrack for that End of the World Party you're planning. Get that apocalypse bunker rockin'.
