Oh hi irresponsible parenting. Didn't see you there behind all the horror.

An 11-year-old boy from Manchester was excluded from his school's World Book Day event after arriving dressed up as Christian Grey, complete with an eye mask and cable ties. Yup, the world is definitely on a downward spiral. Get off while you can.

When the school rang the boy's mother to address the situation, she jumped to his defense saying 'The cable ties were tiny and not enough to do anything with them.' Because that's the concern.

The school allegedly suggested that he change his costume to James Bond, which the boy's mother thought was ironic seeing as he is 'a very promiscuous character who kills people'. We feel like she's possibly missing the point here.

According to the school, the boy was allowed take part once he 'modified' his costume, but didn't elaborate on how exactly that was done, and said they were 'disappointed' that the day was 'marred by this issue'.
