American TV Station hacked, broadcasts emergency zombie warning
Nothing like a zombie prank to whip up a frenzy now is there?
A TV station in Montana under The CW network had their emergency broadcast system hacked yesterday and some opportunistic The Walking Dead fan decided that the best use of the effort would be to announce that 'dead bodies are rising from their graves' in the zombie prank to end all zombie pranks. Now there are no reports of people actually falling for it, so War of the Worlds this wasn't, but you have to applaud the effort. The station in question, KRTV, even had to go and release a statement. How long before someone does this on RTÉ? There could be a lot of fun to have with the news ticker. Especially if Aengus is on at the time.
