Flash mobs, surprise proposals/weddings, cats, memes, cat memes, 2012 had it all. 2012: What Brought Us Together starts off on the bad and quickly moves into the good in a very emotional round up of the year that will almost definitely get you choked up. While it has a strong lean towards American pop culture and events, featuring news bulletins from US networks and viral stories that originated in America , this montage of the year manages to cram in a lot of the best and worst of humanity in it's six minutes and ten seconds, with plenty of things you'd probably forgotten. You may want to watch it hiding behind your screen where no one will see you welling up. We didn't. Just a bit of dust or something in our eye.
