As anyone who travels a lot, there's nothing more disturbing or downright detrimental than a toilet that's been decimated by huge amounts of poo.

If you're on a train or a plane and there's a rank toilet, you're basically done with that for the entire trip. One plane-trip, however, was particularly bad.

The British Airways flight from London to Dubai began simply enough, but when senior cabin crew were called to the cockpit by the pilot some 30 minutes after take-off, something definitely smelled.

The 'liquid fecal excrement' became so powerful that nearby passengers simply couldn't stand.

The brave souls who dared to fix the toilet gave up shortly after the flight crossed over Brussels, with the flight turning back for London.

The culprit wasn't identified, but what is known is that all passengers had to disembark and, we're guessing, the toilet had to be decontaminated.

As reasons for cancelling a flight go, this one stinks. (tumbleweed)
