Doris Ayling is having a strange old week after being on the receiving end of a letter reminding her about her upcoming pregnancy-related appointment, which came as a shock considering she's 99-years-old.
The letter from the NHS had Ayling's correct address and date of birth on it, and requested that she bring a urine sample to her next antenatal appointment in Portsmouth Hospital.

Talking to The Sun Doris said: "I’m almost 100 so how can I be expecting? I have three children and 20 grandchildren but I haven’t been pregnant for 70 years." Her son however stressed that no one took the letter too seriously and "everyone had a good laugh".
A spokesman from the hospital said: "It was a rare administrative error and we have apologised for any unnecessary anxiety this may have caused."
