72-year-old Chinese man models granddaughter's female clothing range
That's what family are for, no? Liu Xianping, a 72-year-old grandfather of five, decided to help out one of his granddaughters by modelling in the clothes she sells at her store, after she herself failed to find a model. Now, normally this would be a considerable fail, but Liu actually manages to look somewhat decent, with a definite Karl Lagerfield vibe which has since gone viral around China and now the world. Sales in the store have also increased five times since people started picking up on the story, with Liu himself becoming a bit of a style icon. With poses like this, how can he not be.
And Liu seems to be too old to give a rats what anyone thinks about it, "Modeling for the store is helping my granddaughter and I have nothing to lose. We were very happy on the day of the shooting. I’m very old and all that I care about is to be happy". Apparently he just started picking up the clothes one day and put them one, styling himself as he went along. You've clearly missed your calling Liu, give Anna Wintour a call ASAP.
