Viewer Reviews of LADY GAGA - THE FAME
I say on how I think that this album started the next generation of Pop! - Edward RocheThe Fame...well the first thing that I can say thats it was the start of the newest generation of Pop to be released into the planet we have named Earth. Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta or known internationally as 'Lady Gaga' has started this generation with her debut album 'The Fame' and I must say she has made an impact. If you look at her now...she's more ...
The Music Industry is coming to an end - OpheliaI completely agree with this reviewSome of these other comments deserve to be scoffed at. The reason why pop music lives on??? There's nothing BUT pop music in the charts now, not that thats a good thing. Music is supposed to have meaning but the only meaning I can bring from her songs is she loves to get drunk, party and **** anyone around her. The music more ...
If I was allowed to rate it zero I would! - BlueCornPieHonestly, I do not know how this album can appeal to anyone. I am quite frankly embarassed that this album is considered to be the soundtrack to the year for my generation. Her look is far from original- Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera, Madonna and the like have been sporting similar looks for the past twenty-odd years (and may I add, they have done it more ...
A Great First Album - jennithBy now everyone knows who lady GaGa is with her outrageous costumes, but is there anything behind the hype and the answer is yes. This lady has talent, she was a songwriter before so she knows the formula for producing hit records and she carrys it through to her own album. The stand out tracks on the album have all been released as singles with my more ...
Miss Gaga Is In Fine Fettle!!! - HSPThis album has been around for quite some time before people noticed it even existed. It was released in the U.S. 5 months before it came out here & the single 'Just Dance' had already been top of the charts for ages when DJ's copped on to it over this side of the water. She started out writing for other artists including Akon who heard her sing & more ...
Best - stu112Went to see her in cork a few weeks ago and i must say she was outstanding and a creative entertainer. Her Debut album is just astonishing with a mix of dance, r&b and ballets. With every song as good as the previous and the catchy lyrics. One of the best albums of the year. I have no favorites as they are all good. My advise to you is get this album, more ...
STUNNING IN EVERY WAY - highbrowAMAZING debut from an individual with real talent. Finally, someone has come along who can sing, dance, play instruments, write their own music and do all this live. Plus, she is hip and cool, has a degree from NYU (yes, she's also intelligent! Yippee) and doesn't try to be anything... but herself. Forget Madonna and Britney ... they don't even come more ...
meh - what a waste - pauljeremiahI honestly do not understand how this thing has over 4 stars, it should be hovering around 1 or 2 (and it will get there in just a year or so.) This has got to be the worst dance album I have ever heard in my life. Mindless pop/dance music can be fun, no doubt, but this is beyond grating. The lyrics are so bad they aren't even laughable, they are borderline more ...
Brilliant Debut - jennithLady Gaga has burst on to the scene with a lot of Tabloid Headlines but is there anything behind the hype. The answer is most definentley yes there is nothing ground breaking on this album but Lady Gaga knows what works to make a hit record and she delivers plenty of it here.Lady Gaga has previously written songs for the likes of the pussycat dolls so she more ...
Really good! - AlanA pretty harsh review by Lauren Murphy methinks. There are admitedly two terrible tracks on the album in the form of Again Again and Brown Eyes, but the other fourteen songs more than make up for this! Just Dance and Poker Face are just stunning, Love Game and Paparazzi are terrific and Eh Eh, Paper Gangsta, The Fame, Beautiful Dirty Rich, and Summerboy are more ...
