Jaysis, it all happened over the bank holiday - the 2010 MTV Movie Awards also took place on Sunday night.
It was a night that allowed a herd of lollipopped heads totter up a red carpet. I'm talking to you Anna Kendrick, Samantha Harris, Nicola Peltz, Whitney Port, and Victoria Justice. And you, Miranda Cosgrove. You're not seven anymore, best leave the dress to swing of its own volition and perhaps start eating grown up portions, your legs are making me wince.
Borderline lollipops included Scarlett Johansson, Vanessa Hudgens and Jessica Biel, while Christina tried her damndest not to go GaGa. Instead, on the red carpet, she channelled Dita Von Teese. She had to let the GaGa loose during her stage performance, however.
Some other subtle performances from the night came from Tom Cruise's coupling with Jennifer Lopez (GIVE UP THE THIGH HIGHS) under the guise of Les Grossman, while Kate Perry buffed up her breasts to squawk alongside fillies who, for some reason, weren't nearly as bulbous in the breast department. It might also be worth noting she turned up wearing this, and headed off to the press room sporting this, eh, shiny number. Again. Subtle.
Speaking of which, Sandra Bullock - who's spent the last couple of months whitening her teeth - thought it'd be a hoot to lay into Scarlett Johansson when collecting her "generation award" (invariably Ryan Reynolds related [himself and Sandra are due to make another film together... best get the PR rolling now]). Lord, if that doesn't make her feel like a cow put out of pasture I don't know what will... *tumbleweeds*

Expect some serious news reporting from the likes of Snookie. And if you thought the coverage couldn't get more professional... Nice employment of a plinth. Best WTF Moment: Ken Jeong - The Hangover, Naked Trunk Surprise... If they had a random award for Biggest WTF Moment on the night, it would have to go to this dude, or Lindsay Lohan. What started off as, "hmmm a dress?" swiftly degenerates into "Oh holy God, a flared jumpsuit. Maybe it looks better from the back?! ARGH!" Lindsay, if you must sport a onsie, this is the way to do it - clunky SCRAM bracelet or none.
