Chris Brown has postponed his upcoming dates at Cork's Live at the Marquee on Tuesday June 15th, Dublin's Vicar St on Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th and Castlebar's Royal Theatre on Friday 18th. The cancellations come after news that the UK has refused the R&B singer's visa application because of his recent assualt conviction.

In a statement, the Home Office said: "We reserve the right to refuse entry to the UK to anyone guilty of a serious criminal offence. Public safety is one of our primary concerns." We assume there was no problem with Brown's Irish visa, but that without a UK visa it was easier to postpone the entire UK and Ireland tour.

Brown is hoping to reschedule the tour for a later date.
