Multi-award winning turntablist and resident DJ with the Beastie Boys, Mixmaster Mike is set for a headline show at The Button Factory this March. The 3-time world DJ champion and founder of the Invisbl Skratch Piklz was recently named by USA Today as one of the greatest DJs of all time. He plays The Button Factory with support from one of the greatest hip-hop vocalists of the last twenty years - Blackalicious' Gift of Gab.
Never one to take a break, Mike’s credits also include his weekly 'Spin Psycle' radio show on KROQ-FM Los Angeles, as well as working with EA Sports on the 'SSX 1' and 'SSX 2' video games and on 'Jet Grind Radio' for Sony Dreamcast. He also produced music for the motion picture soundtrack for Jail, Hospitals and Hip Hop, hosted the ESPN Action Awards and is also prominently featured in the indie film Scratch.
