Sometimes what's simple is best. It may be simply a series of gigs in a very large tent, but judging by its ever expanding line up of high profile artists, Live at the Marquee, Cork,  may just deliver some of the best live music this summer. As always, hosting an eclectic range of acts, from rap and hip-hop to folk and country to heavy metal, classic rock and pure pop, there's something on the Marquee's line up for just about everyone. This year's stellar musical line up includes giants Simple Minds, The Prodigy, Rod Stewart and James Taylor as well as pop megastars Kanye West, Boyzone and Anastasia, and superb Irish acts Bell X1, Christy Moore and John Spillane & Mick Flannery, and that's just a taster. There's also comedy from Irish-American favourite Des Bishop who's sure to bring on the laughs. Held in Cork's Docklands at Centre Park Road, the festival runs from June 18th to July 9th with tickets ranging in price from a mere €33 all the way up to €91.25.
