Gary Barlow has recorded a duet with former Take That bandmate Robbie Williams. The song, entitled 'Shame' is due for release as a single on October 4th.

Barlow & Williams wrote the song together, and it is the first time they have recorded together since Williams left Take That back in 1995. The song will appear on Robbie's forthcoming greatest hits album 'In And Out Of Consciousness - The Greatest Hits 1990-2010', which will follow a week later.

In a statement, the Angels hitmaker commented, "It's incredible to listen to the album and realize that it's already been 20 years of making music and playing gigs. And the great thing about the album is that it's not only a celebration of my past but also a bridge to the future. The fact that part of the future includes a name from my past makes it all the more poignant for me."

Rumours that Robbie would rejoin Take That were sparked when he appeared singing alongside Gary Barlow at a Children In Need concert earlier this year. After this, it looks like a reunion is just a matter of time.
