Geoffrey Rush is poised to return to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Rush appeared in the first 'Pirates'(and the most memorable) as the scurrilous Captain Barbossa, arguably the best villain of the trilogy thus far. Johnny Depp will of course return as Captain Jack Sparrow and Stephen Graham, Penelope Cruz and, delightfully, Ian McShane are also set to co-star. Pre-production is currently in its final stages in Hawaii ahead of the start of filming later this month. Director Rob Marshall is shooting a script penned by Terry Rossio and Ted Elliott, writers of the previous films. Avast!
