It's not just a 34-year-old New Yorkian party hostess by the name of Rachel Utchitel who has (allegedly) fornicated with Tiger's Wood. He's proving to be even more of a cliché by (allegedly) repeatedly bedding a 23-year-old cocktail waitress from Las Vegas. One Jamiee Grubbs has now entered the equation - by blabbing her story to the press. You can never trust the younger ones to be discreet.
TMZ reports: "The woman - Jaimee Grubbs, claims she met Tiger in Las Vegas in April, 2007. The woman - a cocktail waitress who was 21 at the time - began what she says was a long-running affair with Tiger. According to Us Weekly, Grubbs has more than 300 text messages from Tiger - who married Elin Nordegren in 2004. The magazine, which comes out tomorrow, claims Grubbs had 20 sexual encounters with Tiger. Us Weekly has photos, racy texts from Tiger, as well as a voicemail from November 24, in which Tiger suggests his wife might be on to the alleged affair."
According to The Sun, said voicemail went a little something like this: "Hey, it's Tiger. I need you to do me a huge favour. Can you please take your name off your phone? My wife went through my phone and may be calling you. So if you can, please take your name off that. Just have it as a number on the voicemail. You got to do this for me. Huge. Quickly. Bye."
Jamiee herself said to the paper: "He told me just last month, 'Quietly and secretly we will always be together.' I loved how we got along. But I knew, in the back of my mind, there could never be just us. There would always be the wife, or somebody else."
Yeeeeeeeah, like his kids, maybe? Shame.
In Tiger's defence, it's also been reported that Jamiee is so desperate for attention that she's appeared on VHI's Tool Academy, so she could be making the whole shebang up. Chances are, though, she's not.
In other news, I'm looking forward to Gillette's new ad campaign. They could have Henry handballing naked razors, Tiger driving his nine iron into a bush, while Federer stands there with his hands on his hips, shaking his tutting head rigorously.
