Apologies. Moving on. Twink, AKA Adele King, went on Gerry Ryan's 'youth radio station' 2FM jowl show yesterday morning , and suffered what The Irish Sun are calling an "erratic outburst." It was that serious, an ambulance had to be called by her 15-year-old daughter Naomi (who, quite frankly, has been through enough what with that whole mickey zipping phenomenon). Seriously, it was that serious Twink had to scrap "last night's opening of Menopause The Musical."

The Sun reports (again, any questionable brackety bits are mine): "Earlier the star stunned Gerry Ryan listeners by boasting she's the best paid woman in Ireland (Marian Finucane might have something to say about that. Then again, she does essentially work. Sooo, let's say Mary McAleese), Mum-of-two Twink - at times sounding confused - also claimed she struggled to pay bills as a single mum. She said: 'I have tried to provide for six years for my children, for the mortgage, the house, the bills, the electricity, the gas, the shopping. I have been a single mother, a single woman with all those bills... I earn a good earning, probably the best of any woman in Ireland, but I always say it's paper. When you pull it, it snaps, it breaks, it's money, it's paper. It can only provide so much." And that was that. Front page news according to the Irish Sun. Maybe she imparted the sentiment more manically on air, or something.

After she was hospitalised, some informed individual released this: "She had an adverse reaction to some allergy and asthma medication she had been taking. She became unwell at home and was transferred to a Dublin hospital by ambulance just after lunchtime. She was then transferred to a second Dublin hospital for specialised treatment for her asthma and allergy condition."

Suddenly, the producer of Menopause The Musical (opening soon, folks!), Robert Kelly, was on hand to speak about Twink's reported wobbler: "I didn't thinks was this ill but she certainly didn't sound great, she wasn't herself. She just said that her asthma had been playing up and it always happens in spring. She has hayfever on top of asthma and that exacerbates the asthma, that's why she takes medicine for both... Adele's a real pro, if there's any possibility of her coming back tonight I'm sure she will." Buy your tickets, see her onstage battling the pollen count for your entertainment!

Personally, I reckon if Twink just stopped "enjoying the feeling of being hungry" (a highly responsible sentiment she imparted after appearing on an episode of Living With Lucy) she might be happier in herself. And if she finds herself too unwell to perform in (plug number three) Menopause The Musical, she can always take on my idea of giving "How to Enjoy The Feeling of Hunger" seminars in the more remote parts of Africa.
