The very awesome Jeremy Renner, who has just picked up an Oscar nomination for his searing work in The Hurt Locker, has a barrage of offers on the table for his next film.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the charismatic actor is weighing up a lead role in the Peter Berg blockbuster Battleship, as well as a part in The Raven, by V for Vendetta and Ninja Assassin helmer James McTeigue.
The main issue stopping him from signing on for Battleship appears to be a schedule clash with another movie - thought to be Paul Thomas Anderson's There Will Be Blood follow up, The Master. Great to see him in demand anyway, Renner is an actor with definite presence and ability who has been doing the supporting rounds for a long time.
