Touted as the next big thing in R&B, Jason Derulo has announced a date at The Academy, Dublin on Thursday August 26th. The 19 year old singer from Florida recently followed his two hit singles 'Whatcha Say' and 'In My Head' with his debut self titled album. The Academy show is open to over 14s, and tickets priced €25 go on sale next Friday April 30th at 9am.

Legendary guitarist Carlos Santana is set to visit Dublin as part of The Carlos Santana Universal Tone Europe Tour 2010. The show will feature hits from Santana's four-decades-long career, as well as songs from a brand new studio album that Carlos Santana is currently putting finishing touches on. Santana kicks off this European tour at The O2 on September 29th. Tickets priced from €60.55 go on sale next Thursday April 29th.

MGMT must really like Dublin, because they have announced yet another date for the Olympia Theatre this September. Ben Goldwasser and Andrew VanWyngarden will now play Saturday 18th September, as well as previously scheduled dates on the 16th and 17th. Tickets priced €30 go on sale next Wednesday April 28th at 9am.

Meanwhile, there are rumours circulating that Arcade Fire will visit Dublin during 2010. Despite the fact that they're already lined up for this year's Oxegen, the band's manager Scott Rodger has said that new live dates are to be added to the band's schedule, and that there will definitely be a Dublin show among them.
