Paul McCartney may not be able to take The Beatles back catalogue away from EMI, but he can certainly take his solo material. Macca has decided to move his entire solo back catalogue, as well as his work with Wings from major label EMI to independent label Concord Music Group. The move will see all of this material reissued physically and digitall on this new label.

Sir Paul chose Concord Music Group after working with them to release 'Memory Almost Full', a joint release with Starbucks in 2007. Last year's live album and DVD 'Good Evening New York City', was also released via Concord. McCartney said he has a "good working relationship" with the label and "enjoyed our mutual love of music".

The first reissue from Paul's solo back catalogue will be 'Band On The Run', and is slated for an August release, complete with new bonus material. The BBC quote the former Beatle as saying, "I'm always looking for new ways and opportunities to get my music to people."
