Having successfully sued EMI for internet royalties and prevented them from selling their songs individually online, Pink Floyd have now removed some of their classic albums from online retailers altogether, as their distribution deal with the major label has come to an end.

'The Wall', 'Animals', 'Wish You Were Here' and 'The Final Cut' are among those works that have been removed from online stores. According to reports, the band's representatives are working on a new deal to licence their entire back catalogue for internet downloads. In the meantime, EMI has remaining stock of Pink Floyd CDs that will be available to purchase, while early albums including 'The Piper at the Gates of Dawn' and 'Dark Side of the Moon' which are actually licence to EMI are still available online.

Roger Waters is set to perform 'The Wall' in its entirety when he plays at The O2, Dublin, on May 23rd 2011.
