The final instalment in the Twilight franchise, Breaking Dawn, has been confirmed to now be two movies, filmed back-to-back.

There had been rumblings for a while that the funding studio, Summit, where planning on doing just that, but it was only confirmed over the weekend, after Dreamgirls helmer, Bill Condon, signed on to direct the final part of the series.

The sticking point seemed to be clams for the flicks stars, notably Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. But that all seems to be sorted now, and lensing is set to begin in the next few months. The third film, Eclipse, is being released in Ireland on July 9th.
