Up until this point, it has been brothers, or friends, or fathers, or individuals who have sent in photos of themselves dressed as members of Sex And The City... now, FINALLY, girfriends and wives have managed to coerce their partners into getting dollied up for a Samsung 3D TV. And it's not just the one photo, no, it's an assortment.
This is John from Cavan. His wife, Rose, got him into not one, but three satin numbers, in a bid to make him resemble Miranda Hobbs. In her email, Rose said: "John jumped straight on board when I mentioned a new tv to watch the world cup on, because we have a big box of a tv and he really wanted a new one.Then I said that it was in 3D and he was over the moon and we got straight to work . I have him in two of my dresses and a silk pink top and a skirt looking very businessy like Miranda herself." Now that's dedication. Fair play, John and Rose.
Their efforts might be pipped, however, by Emily and her boyfriend Ciaran. Firstly, she sent in one of himself as Samantha (presumably during her chemo treatment). Then came this gem... Ciaran, depicting the opening title sequence of the show, frilly pink skirt 'n all. What's most impressive though is the fact that this one was taken at a public bus stop. In Dublin. In daylight. OUTSIDE. Ciara, despite what the pictures convey, you clearly have balls.
David sent in two snaps of himself as Charlotte 'Grayson Perry' York before an encounter with a Lady Shave.
Dav sent in this arbitrary snap of him and a mate as "Carrie and Samantha." It has to be said, Dav (on the left) has the poise of a lady. And a humm of the Doherty.
