Tommy Lee Jones is in negotiations to star and possibly direct Matthew McConaughey's latest film, The Lincoln Lawyer. According to The Hollywood Reporter, McConaughey's character is somewhat of a hack attorney, who stumbles upon a rich playboy as a client, assuming the case is easy money and easy publicity. But, as you'd expect from Hollywood, things are not as straight forward as they seemed. Jones previously helmed the excellent The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, and had been extremely fussy about what he would follow it up with, so he must've seen something in Michael Connolly's novel he really dug.
