Bryan Singer has been talking about returning to the once brilliant X-Men franchise, telling The Hollywood Reporter: "I'm still looking to possibly returning to the X-Men franchise. I've been talking to Fox about it," said Singer, before adding: "I love Hugh Jackman. I love the cast." Currently in development is the spin-off X-Men: First Class, and a Wolverine sequel; I can't see him directing either of those to be honest, so a third sequel might be the most realistic outcome here. Brett Ratner took over X-Men 3 when Singer bounced to do Superman Returns, with the resulting film being panned by the majority of fans ready to hate on Ratner. Would love to see another X-Men film with Singer at the helm, but just how he'd do it is anyone's guess.
