Brandon Flowers unveiled his first solo single on his website last night after much anticipation. Predictably, it has now leaked all across the interweb.

'Crossfire' is the first single to be taken from The Killers frontman's upcoming debut solo album 'Flamingo', both of which are set for release in September. The song also had its radio debut last night on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio1 show.

Speaking to NME, Flowers revealed he initially intended the news songs for the next Killers album.
"I would prefer if this was a Killers record, although it would obviously be very different if I'd made it with the rest of the band. We're just at different places in our lives right now. It's no secret that they're ready to put the brakes on for a second. It's definitely not the end of The Killers, but you can't blame the others - we've been going non-stop since 2003."
