The weekend is here with some great TV in store albeit with an hour less of it given that the clocks go forward Saturday night. Never mind that though, there's still rugby to be watching, a pretty decent Late Late Show and a rather important football match this Sunday you may have heard a thing or two about.

Take a look at all our TV picks below;

FRIDAY

The Late Late Show
RTE1: 9.35pm

We all recovered from last week's Late Late? Between that awkward Ryan O'Neal interview and Russell Crowe telling the audience to shut up clapping, it was quite a show. It's another great lineup too this week would you believe, I know, two weeks in a row - madness! The one and only Kim Cattrall will join Ryan for a chat, who everyone will of course know as Samantha from Sex and the City. Cattrall is in town for JDIFF but will also be chatting about her career to date and her new dark comedy TV series Sensitive Skin. As well as her good self, the legend that is Alan Rickman will be on to discuss his new film A Little Chaos. Rickman is known for many a famous movie role in the past, not least for that evil German bloke trying to kill Bruce Willis in Die Hard, as well as Éamon de Valera in Michael Collins, and of course Professor Snape in the Harry Potter films. Also tonight, Louis Walsh will be in for a gossip about why Zayn left One Direction, while his new boyband Hometown will also perform. Finally, Calum Best will chat to Ryan about the difficult relationship he had with his father George Best.

Rugbai Beo: Leinster v Glasgow Warriors
TG4: 7.10pm

A few of Ireland's Six Nations winning heroes return to provincial action this evening as Leinster take on Glasgow Warriors at the RDS, with Ian Madigan starting at inside centre less than a week after he closed out the game against Scotland in a green jersey. The trophy itself will be paraded in front of a home crowd that's sure to be in good voice, but while Ireland have found success, Leinster's form in the PRO 12 has been a bit patchy. This is guaranteed tees to be a tough test as the team at the top of the table comes to visit, but there may be tired bodies and minds after a tough campaign for Ireland that went down to the wire.

Alan Carr: Chatty Man
Channel 4: 10.00pm

No Graham Norton again this week, but you can rest assured that Alan Carr has you sorted (along with a decent enough Late Late lineup too). Tonight the host is joined by former Corrie lady Michelle Keegan who is currently starring in BBC drama Ordinary Lies, which you should really check out if you haven't yet. Hollywood actor Elijah Wood reveals details of his role in children's animation Over the Garden Wall. South London magician Troy chats about his latest E4 series. Finally, and maybe we should have opened with this, Morrissey will be in! The former Smiths frontman will be talking to Alan about his life and career and will perform his single Kiss Me a Lot live in the studio.

The Musketeers
BBC1: 9.00pm

The second series of this BBC drama comes to an end tonight and sees the Musketeers risking everything to prove Rocheforts treachery. Porthos heads off to to find the Spanish 'M' to whom the evil count is giving all the secrets from the French court. While things aren't looking too good for the Queen and Aramis either. Can the Musketeers save their friends, their country and the royal family from Rochefort's plotting?

SATURDAY

Live Dubai World Cup
TG4: 11.30am

Live coverage of the 20th running of the richest horse race meeting in the world at the Meydan Racecourse in Dubai. There will be nine races throughout the day, with the purses totaling 29.25 million dollars, while the winner of the main event - the Group One Flat Race - will walk away with a cool $10 million. Not too shabby, ey? Other races on the day include the Godolphin Mile and the Dubai Gold Cup.

Rugbai Beo: Munster v Connacht
TG4: 10.35pm

A look back at everything that happened in in Munster's game Saturday afternoon against Connacht, as the two Irish provinces clash in the Guinness PRO 12. Foley has brought in a few of his big guns who return from international duty after his side's loss to Ospreys, in the hope that a better performance will help them beat Connacht. There will also be highlights from all the provincial sides as Leinster faced Glasgow Warriors on Friday, and Ulster take on the Cardiff Blues.

Coalition
Channel 4: 9.00pm

As Britain prepares for another General Election, this feature-length political drama takes a look back at the politically frenzied days in 2010, when the election somehow led to Nick Clegg's rise from rank outsider to the man who would help decide the fate of the country. This drama documents that unusual time in British politics (starring the likes of Bertie Carvel, Ian Grieve and Mark Gatiss) when the most unlikely of all coalitions was formed in the UK.

SUNDAY

Live Euro 2016 Qualifier: Republic of Ireland v Poland
RTE 2: 7.00pm

Ireland will return to action on the road to the European Championships of 2016. They face Poland, one of the other sides in the group vying for a qualification spot, and they have a dangerous front line that could do some damage to Ireland. A disappointing loss to Scotland leaves Ireland needing to win to keep the momentum going for the campaign, while Poland's win against Germany has put them in the driving seat as they visit the Aviva Stadium. Kick-off is at 7.45pm.

Mr Selfridge
UTV Ireland: 9.00pm

Season three is at an end already and the drama looks like its set to keep up until the very last second. Harry finds himself locking horns in a boardroom showdown before he announces his engagement to Nancy, although it becomes clear to the future bride that the con may not last much longer as Princess Marie grows more suspicious about the Selfridge Estate project. Our man Harry is then later forced to face an unimaginable truth (?!), while Mr Grove finally accepts the error of his ways, setting out to put things right.

Louis Theroux: By Reason of Insanity
BBC2: 9.00pm

Second and final part of this much talked about new series from the always impressive Louis Theroux which sees him visit Ohio's maximum security state psychiatric hospital. While there, he spends times with patients whose personalities are so intertwined with their mental illnesses it makes them more difficult to treat. He also takes a closer look at the tremendously grey area between criminal actions and medical symptoms, and investigates how insanity is defined.

Poldark
BBC1: 9.00pm

Our own Aidan Tuner stars in this addictive new BBC period drama which sees a fella called Ross Poldark return from war to find his lady friend has moved on and his home is a shambles. He has been doing well these last few weeks though and has even found himself a bride, although the locals are pretty shocked by his marriage to Demelza. Poldark isn't a man to let that get to him though. He may care however about Charles's reaction as the news appears to bring on a heart attack! Merciful jaysus. Elsewhere, Verity takes on Demelza to teach her the art of being a lady, which might be needed when the couple are invited to spend Christmas with the Trenwith Poldarks....
