The X Factor has decided that cutting four acts this week might actually be a tad brutal at this stage in the competition so have announced today that it will just be two packing their bags this weekend.
An X Factor spokesperson confirmed to Digital Spy: "This weekend's show will feature one act leaving on Saturday and one act leaving on Sunday.
"We have some great talent on the show this year. Simon thinks it's unfair to cut the numbers so drastically when contestants are doing so well.
"Talent this year is exceptional and with fewer weeks of live shows, producers want to give them more time to shine and more time for the audiences to pick their favourites."
The theme this weekend is George Michael songs featuring the contestant's versions of the likes of 'Careless Whisper' and 'Faith', as well as Wham! classics like 'The Edge of Heaven'.
