There's is a hell of a lot of great TV out there these days, you don't need us to tell you that, but there's also so many reboots happening. It seem TV executives are determined that shows we all loved from the past thirty years must be risen from the dead with life beaten back into them just so we all don't have to feel old anymore (or you know, something like that).

Let's face it though, some series' should be just left exactly where they are with no tainted memories of them. That's why we're quite relieved to hear Will Smith's response to those Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reboot rumours that were circulating about a year ago. It was thought that the actor was planning on reviving the series that made him a star in the nineties and would serve as an executive producer.

However, Will Smith weighed in with his two cents on the matter, telling E! News that a Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reboot would happen "when hell freezes over".

That's a hard no then.

His exact response to the question was; "I don't think ever, like pretty close to when hell freezes over,"

"Like we're going to leave that one alone."

Phew.

Your childhood is safe. For now.
