When we were watching Malcolm In The Middle all those years ago, we couldn't possibly have imagined that Bryan Cranston would become the Walter White/Heisenberg that we all know and love today. And now, we've just found out when he'll be back on our screens for the very last chapter in the Breaking Bad series. *Sob*

The second half of Season 5 of the immensely popular US Drama will be broadcast on AMC from August 2013, with the first of the final 8 episodes going to air on August 11th. To top it all off, the network will be airing a recap special, Talking Bad, to give viewers a chance to to catch up with the story before it all comes to an end. We're not able lads, not able.

There's still no word on that spinoff we were telling you about either, so we're not quite sure what the future holds for the series just yet. All we can say is that we'll be very very sad to say goodbye to a bit of rather decent telly.

Don't expect a big screen adaptation of the series any time soon though, because series creator Vince Gilligan has definitely ruled out the idea of a Breaking Bad movie... for now.
