Fans of Brendan O'Carroll's 'Mrs Brown's Boys' are in for quite a treat this Christmas as RTÉ have announced that they'll be showing two festive specials of the show, along with an airing of 'Mrs Brown's Boys D'Movie'.

The first of the TV specials, "Mammy’s Forest" will air on RTÉ One on Christmas Day at 22:25, and in the episode something isn’t quite right in the Brown household this Christmas. Agnes Brown has had enough hassle with Christmas trees to last a lifetime, so this year she refuses to have one. But with Grandad’s health a worry for everyone, is there something else missing this Christmas apart from just the tree?

The second special "Chez Mammy" doesn't yet have an air date but will most likely be New Year's Eve or New Year's Day on RTÉ One and is all about Agnes Brown’s grandson Bono is being bullied by a boy at school. And when Agnes makes matters worse, a mediation session is called. Meanwhile, Cathy has a new, French boyfriend. He doesn’t make the best first impression, which might be an issue if he is to survive meeting Mrs Brown. Grandad is back from hospital. As well as a new stair-lift, he also has a prescription for medical marijuana. What could possibly go wrong?

And while they haven't confirmed it, the Mirror are reporting that 'Mrs Brown's Boys D'Movie' will be shown over the holiday season as well, for anyone that didn't manage to see it in the cinema, on DVD or on TV so far.

A veritable Brendan O'Carroll feast for all. Sure what would Christmas be without him.
