Ah Jason Bateman, love him or loathe him, you've got to admit, the man was one of the BEST things about Arrested Development. We personally can't wait to see Michael Bluth again when the show's new miniseries lands on Netflix in May. How he'd fare as a talk show host though, is another question entirely...

We aren't quite sure if he was being 100 per cent serious, but when Bateman was interviewed for the April 2013 GQ Style Bible he did hint at having some ambitions to move to the Big Apple and front his own little programme. He has two young daughters, Francesca and Maple, right now, so it wouldn't exactly be ideal to start something like that, but it doesn't mean he wouldn't do it in future.

"Without getting too specific about it, because I can't, I've thought seriously about it as recently as last year," the actor revealed. "Having just come back from doing a week of talk shows last week, I was talking to [my wife] Amanda about, in twenty years - when the girls go to college and we can finally move to New York, which is what I've been wanting to do forever - if television will have me, I would love to do that. Regis Philbin retired at what, 80? So in twenty years I'll be 64. To host a talk show then, that would be a fun way to do the last bit."

Sounds pretty serious to us, but I guess we'll just have to watch this space!
