Last night's Late Late Show show a lively debate on how Ireland should handle the centenary of the 1916 Rising and, yes, Blindboy Boatclub from the Rubberbandits was one of the guests.

You didn't dream that, you weren't hallucinating - it really did happen. Blindboy, who has a regular slot discussing philosophy and ethics (again, yes really) on 2FM's Chris and Ciara, spoke eloquently about the need for inclusivity in commemorating the Easter Rising.

He also discussed the Rubberbandits' recent documentary on the topic and how young people view the Rising and history itself. All while wearing a bag over his head and an affected Limerick accent.

Amazing. Just amazing. Take a look.

In fairness to Blindboy, he makes his points lucidly and clearly with what looks like a Spar bag draped over his face.

As well as this, Twitter was rowing in behind Blindboy's appearance and his talking points.

Fair play to you, Blindboy. You're doing Limerick proud.
