It's not even a day into November and ALREADY we've got Christmas adverts on the telly-box.

Lidl's kicked off the best / worst time of year with this odd little advertisement about a school for Christmas. Yes, a school that teaches you how to boil brussel sprouts, untangle fairy lights and act happy when you get a crap present.

Take a look.

Look, it's a fine effort, but it's nowhere near a patch on the likes of Penneys or any of the Marks & Sparks ads.

That one with the WWI soldier floored us last year and we're only now beginning to recover emotionally. We've got 52 shopping days to Christmas, so we're bound to see more in the coming weeks.
