Six seasons in, it's hard to know whether or not Homeland is still drawing an audience.

Well, obviously it is if it's at six seasons, but the question is whether or not it's still relevant. After all, the CIA are still in the headlines and the next four years under Trump is going to be pretty terrifying, to say the least.

In any case, Homeland's back for another season and this time around, Carrie Mathison is back on American soil and provided aid to Muslims living in the US whilst Saul Berensen is out tracking the Iranians' nuclear deal and whether or not they're keeping up their end.

It all looks pretty timely, everything except for House Of Cards' Elizabeth Marvel who's obviously playing a Hillary Clinton stand-in who wants to overhaul the CIA.

Here's the first trailer. Homeland airs on US television from January 15th.
