2017 really is Stephen King's year.

Already, we've had The Dark Tower (meh), Gerald's Game (v. good), It (v. v. good), Mr. Mercedes (good) and while it's not arriving on our screens this year, Castle Rock looks like it has a lot going for it. Pitched as a sort of shared universe show that features characters and places from the world of Stephen King, there's little in the way of plot revealed in this trailer for Castle Rock but it does show the talent on screen.

Bill Skarsgard - who plays Pennywise in It, funnily enough - and Sissy Spacek - who played Carrie in Brian DePalma's 1976 classic - both turn up in this trailer, and there's also a reference to a certain prison too. Although it's a Hulu original, don't be in the least bit surprised if this turns up on Channel 4 ala The Handmaid's Tale, another Hulu original.

Take a look.
