You have to give credit to Stephen Colbert - you wouldn't see Jimmy Fallon travelling to St. Petersburg purely for a bit.

Granted, the gulf between Colbert and Fallon et al is getting steadily larger with each passing week when it comes to ratings and the like, but this in particular is a stroke of genius by Colbert. As part of his so-called Russia Week, Colbert travelled to St. Petersburg for the purposes of cultural exchanges and, as well, to find out if there were any hackers in Russia who were involved in the US election.

As Colbert points out at the start of the segment, he thought this whole thing might have died down by the time they got to cover.

If only. Take a look.
