David Tennant and Olivia Colman star in the third and final season of detective drama Broadchurch, which arrives on our screens shortly, and will have a rake load more of famous faces joining the cast too, including popular former Corrie star, Julie Hesmondhalgh, aka Hayley Cropper.

The award-winning actress is set to play a very significant role in the series too, as her character is the victim of a sexual assault - the crime that reunites Miller and Hardy. The detectives investigate the case, on a mission to find the perpetrator, who is still out there.

Also joining the cast are Lenny Henry and Sarah Parish and Georgina Campbell, while Arthur Darvill and Carolyn Pickles will also return.

Creator Chris Chibnall has his hopes set on creating a thrilling final season, previously saying: "This is the final chapter of Broadchurch. We have one last story to tell, featuring both familiar faces and new characters. I hope it’s a compelling and emotional farewell to a world and show that means so much to me."
