Any doubts you may have had at the show not living up to the source material or original film should be cast aside by these familiar faces.

Based on the internationally best-selling series of books, 'Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events' chronicles the turbulent lives of Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire after their parents' untimely death in a fire, and how they are placed in the custody of a distant relative named Count Olaf (Neil Patrick Harris), who is seeking fortune by way of stealing their inheritance by any means necessary.

While many may be turned off or worried about NPH's portrayal of Count Olaf, this new trailer does a lot to maintain the sinister element that the character needs, and the presence of Catherine O'Hara, Alfre Woodard and Joan Cusack in supporting roles is enough to guarantee at least one viewing of the series.

O'Hara plays Dr. Georgina Orwell in Netflix's adaptation, while Woodard plays the Aunt Josephine (made famous by Meryl Streep) and Cusack plays the series version of O'Hara's Justice Strauss.

All that and the kids look talented and not irritating. All in all, good signs.

'Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events' premieres on Netflix on January 13th, 2017.
