The cast - well, some of the cast - of The Last Jedi appeared on the big red couch last night on Graham Norton.

As well as discussing Skellig Michael and Ireland, and described the blockbuster as basically an advertisement for Irish tourism, Hamill also talked about the franchise's legacy of dodgy special effects - and was even good enough to recreate one on the couch.

Anyone who's seen The Empire Strikes Back knows the scene where Skywalker, played by Hamill, is hung upside down in a cave by an ice monster - called a Wampa, by the way - and uses the Force to pull his lightsaber out of the ground to escape.

How'd they do that and make it look so seamless? Let Hamill himself explain.
