John Oliver has never been one to shy away from a difficult subject on 'Last Week Tonight' and this week he went all in on the loose and surprisingly unscientific forensic science that is used in criminal trials to put people behind bars, discovering some horrifying truths about the falsities it can throw up.
We'd like to say we're surprised but we've seen 'Making A Murderer' so unfortunately we're all to familiar with forensics and other pieces of evidence being used to pin crimes on people.
What's staggering here, however, is just how wrong so many of the practises that are used can be.
