Released 75 years ago today, Citizen Kane is often cited as one of the most influential films of all time.

Although it barely recouped its enormous budget upon release, the saga of press mogul Charles Foster Kane has gone on to become one of the most well-known stories ever told on films. As anyone who's watched The Simpsons will tell you, they're known for making nods and winks in the general direction of many films.

One entire episode, in fact, was basically Citizen Kane as told by Montgomery Burns, replacing the infamous Rosebud sled from the film with Bobo the teddy bear.

YouTube editor Moon Films managed to slice together each every reference to the 1941 classic from The Simpsons' run. There's more than a few in there that we didn't clock, so it's definitely worth a watch.

Take a look.

Good stuff. Now do one for every film reference ever.

It'd be something like four hours long, but damn it, we'd watch every second of it.
