Well it's more of a teaser trailer really, in that it's about fifteen seconds long... in fact blink and you'll miss it, but look it's something isn't it? Series eight will begin in August and will be the debut of the brand new doctor as Peter Capaldi takes over the role from Matt Smith.

The trailer below you'll get to see just the silhouette of Capaldi in the backdrop of some kind of explosion. Hmmm, yep they are giving nothing away.
