Back in 1996, America was gripped by the shocking murder of six-year-old beauty queen JonBenet Ramsey and to this day, her death remains unsolved and has inspired years of media speculation and public fascination.
This upcoming Netflix documentary, by filmmaker Kitty Green, will investigate the murder some twenty years after and features interviews with locals in Boulder, Colorado, where JonBenet Ramsey lived with her family. The documentary reflects on the impact Ramsey's murder had on the attitudes and behavior of successive generations of parents and children.
The documentary was screened earlier in the year at Sundance Film Festival and received much critical praise, particularly for how it blurs the lines between documentary and drama, as you will see in the trailer below.
