Directed by the likes of Fincher and 'Amy' and 'Senna' director Asif Kapadia, executive produced by Fincher and Charlize Theron and starring a cast full of familiar and very talented faces, 'MINDHUNTER' looks like it could be our new favourite show.

Based on 'Mindhunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit', a non-fiction book by John Douglas and Mark Olshaker about agents of the FBI’s Investigative Support Unit, the series is set in 1979 and follows Jonathan Groff and Holt McCallany as they set out to get into the mindset of serial killers and psychopaths so that they might have an easier time identifying and catching them.

So basically Fincher at his crime thriller best. We're really hoping this becomes 'Se7en' the TV show.

And yes, the 'MINDHUNTER' is in all caps on purpose.

'MINDHUNTER' debuts on Netflix on October 13th.
