It was announced recently that The Lion King movie, aka the most beautiful tale of all time, was to be made into a sequel in a movie made for TV.

Set to be called 'The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar' it will follow the story of Kion, the son of Simba and Nala. It's even going to have mother-truckin' MUFASA in it, with the voice of James Earl Jones and all. We assume it will be ghost Mufasa though, they can't go messing with history that much.

It will also feature the voices of Rob Lowe as Simba, Ernie Sabella as Pumbaa, Gabrielle Union as Nala and Max Charles as Kion.

The movie will be shown in November and act as a precursor to the 'Lion Guard' TV series which will premiere on Disney Channel and Disney Junior channels worldwide in early 2016.

The Disney Channel have just released a pretty decent sized clip of the new movie too, that will fill you up with warm nostalgia on this miserable August Wednesday.
