If anyone's watched Master Of None or Parks & Recreation, they'll know that Aziz Ansari is one of the funniest comedians working today.

Hosting SNL for the first time, Ansari used his opening monologue to talk about - what else - Donald Trump's inauguration and the Women's March. While he didn't go into the whole crowd-size thing (more on that later), he did address the fact that Trump's campaign has emboldened and stirred up a dormant part of American culture.

Namely, racists or what Ansari calls in his monologue, the lowercase KKK. It's not all preachy, mind, and Ansari does a good job of holding the audience's attention and making them laugh in equal measure. If John Oliver ever decides to take a break from Last Week Tonight, Ansari's a good choice to follow up.

Anyway, here's his monologue in full.
