Oh to be Simon Cowell and live in a cosy little bubble where you don't have to buy a bag for life every single time you buy groceries because for some reason you never have one when you need one, despite having 20,000 crammed into a cupboard at home.

Simon was caught out with his ignorance over the bags on Britain's Got Talent over the weekend when comic singer Micky P Kerr took to the stage and sung a series of funny songs, one of which was 'Bag for Life'.

Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams got a great kick out of the song but poor filthy rich Simon was a bit confused asking "What?"

"A bag for life," Amanda told him. "You know when you go to the supermarket, you can either buy a cheap carrier bag or a bag for life which is better quality and a bit more expensive?"

Simon, it appeared, did not, but was entertained by the song anyways.

David Walliams later chimed in "What was really funny was seeing Amanda having to explain to Simon what a bag for life is. You clearly have not been to a supermarket since 1981!"
